Comunicación social y cultura popular en La Madalena (1994 – 2010)

Actividad política, social y cultural. Con esa premisa empezó a trabajar el colectivo Rebel en 1994 en un local autogestionado y autónomo
que adoptaría el nombre de Arrebato (inspirado en el film de Iván Zulueta, 1980).
Hoy en día y en plena celebración del XV aniversario, el contexto sigue siendo el mismo.
El cambio generacional, necesario en todo trabajo “por amor al arte”, ha dado paso a una evolución natural
hasta llegar a lo que es el proyecto actualmente:
la Avv. Arrebato, gestionada por distintos colectivos, personas del ámbito cultural de la ciudad y vecinos del barrio de La Madalena.
En esta exposición esperamos mostrar lo que para nosotros representa, cómo funciona, hacer un poco de historia y llegar a entender
por qué unas pocas personas siguen nadando a contracorriente en un mundo en el que esto parece cosa de locos.
Nos apasiona la música, pero también nos encanta decir lo que pensamos. Ser parte activa en un mundo de mudos y de sordos.
Ponerle voz y oreja a proyectos subterráneos, al trabajo sin ánimo de lucro, a la cultura social y no institucionalizada.
Nos encantan las personas incomprendidas, somos parte de ellas.
Las formas de expresión son ilimitadas y no nos gusta siempre lo fácil. Nos aburre.
Una colección de recuerdos, imágenes, sonidos, experiencias, ideas y sensaciones donde las protagonistas somos todas es lo que hemos preparado con mucho cariño. La Magdalena, vosotras, nosotros y las que todavía están por llegar.
